I've always thought that Americans came in all colors, it's the media (mostly) that separates us. During the Sept 11 attacks thats what they were describes as attack on the "Americans". All people of color (by color, I mean white, black, brown, yellow, and red) were affected by the attacks.

But at the same time blacks do perpetuate/bring about this divide by shows like BET or the term "black colleges". We are taught (I believe it was Newton, no not Fig Newton) . . ."that where there is an action, there is an opposite and equal reation" (or something to that effect).

Anyways point taken, besides that's a different subject.
The media divides us?

Been to any major cities lately?

And Black colleges are called that because they were started for blacks who couldn't attend state universities in the south.
