Observations from the Divs
1) AFC = Two gifts. San Diego and Baltimore both LOST their games. New England and Indy were receipients. Granted, the Pats and Colts didn't screw it up once the two favs choked.
2) If Marty Schottenheimer gets inducted into the Hall Of Fame, next to his bust should sit a football rolling around on the turf. Because his legacy is players putting the ball on the ground. I mean, you must have to teach players to cough it up like that.
3) How did Mike Holmgren win a Super Bowl? Oh that's right, he got to face Drew Bledsoe in a meaningful game. The surprising revelation about this is that facing Drew was more favorable for an opponent than facing Rex Grossman.
4) At which donut shop did Donovan McNabb purchase a gift certificate for Andy Reid? I mean, what coach who actually wants to win punts in that situation? Sneaky Don knows the way to Andy's heart...through his four stomachs.
5) Maybe next weekend the Soldier Field ground crew should eschew resodding with old Astroturf from The Vet.
