I got a call from my BIL last night from Georgetown (just north of Austin). He and my wife's sister were at a local sports bar enjoying the hell out of the game. He's a Chriopractor and Katrina ran him out of Kenner and completely destroyed the Chrio office he worked at in Metarie. After almost a year in Houma with his folks, he and his wife decided to leave his lifelong roots of Louisiana and move to the Austin area to open his own Chrio office.

He misses home and the Cajun ways but sees a much better business opportunity in Texas and is just plum tired of hurricane evacuations and all the crap that goes with it. And all truth be told, his wife would rather live in Texas than Louisiana.

He's much more of an LSU Tiger fan but he was on cloud nine with the Saints performance last night.
I love New Orleans. I've loved every minute I've spent there, even the hungover-drunk-puking time spent in hotel bathrooms. But I'd never live there.
