He loves New Orleans as well but he's very tired of the trash, problems and pitiful mentality that is all part of New Orleans.

Houma is his home but he spent the last few years in Kenner.

yeah, I wouldn't mind living around NOLA. BR isn't too bad, but the schools suck here, and my job prospects aren't great. LSU would probably be my best shot at employment here, so I have to start getting ready for the move on to somewhere else...meaning one of these weekends, I'm going to have to go to NOLA and get completely shitfaced.

SIL and her boyfriend are coming down between Xmas and New Year's, and he wants to go to NOLA for new year's eve. That might be the night.
