I'm so glad I had the pleasure of partying in the French Qtr for three or four visits before Katrina made her impact. My wife, friends and I have had some of our best times there.

We were down there drinking in March. Used to be you'd walk down the street and could have your fill of people tossing beads off balconies and chicks flashing. Not even during Mardi Gras...anytime of year. But in March, there was 1 girl. One. That's it. Something changed. I hope it has changed back by New Years. Cuz I've got a lot of beads I need to get rid of.
