And that's why I say eliminate the pre-season and just add those four games to the regular season.

I think they take two games off and make the regular season 18 games, it wouldn't decrease popularity at all.

However, as has been mentioned, there's that injury issue and that more games is more cause for injury, and there's already enough guys out every year because of injury.
