I'm not sure. If the NFL actually lasted as long as a pro basketball season, then we'd be cheering for players like Rod Smart, Artose Pinner, Desmond Howard, Kyle Turley and the awesomeness(sp) of former U-M QB Elvis Grbac. What I'm trying to say is that it'll be that much harder for a player to stay healthy if the season was longer. If it was physically possible, I'm all for a longer season, but unfortunately we have to deal with reality.
