Everything is a hollow gesture. It is a gesture none the less. Most of these people haven't even watched TV in a while. A game might be more than a welcome distraction.

Exactly. Not only that, but if the NFL didn't take a single cent from that game that would be the right thing to do.

Think about this too......the Saints owner doesn't have any home games this year to make money from.

I think the NFL should take the average take for the average stadium, and give it to him.

Or at least mirror the receipts he made from last year to help keep the franchise and its employees afloat.

Don't forget about all those people who worked at the Superdome too, that are now out of jobs.
