Default Patriots impressed with RB Cobbs
From DraftSharks.com

Michael Felger of the Boston Herald reports Patriots 2nd-year RB Cedric Cobbs has been impressive so far and could "head into the regular season as [Corey] Dillon's primary backup." Cobbs has participated in all seven days and 11 total practices over the first week of training camp, unlike his rookie year, when a hamstring injury put him on the physically unable to perform list. "I'm having a much better start than last year," said Cobbs last week. "I actually get to go through the practices and get coached up on the things that I do wrong and the things I do right." This is a typical summer puff piece on Mr. Felger's part, becuse nowhere do we hear Bill Belichick say, "Yeah, my trusted veteran backup Kevin Faulk, who does everything the way I ask, is being beat out by the youngster." However, Cobbs is a very talented runner and if he's practicing every day without setbacks, who knows what could happen.
