Hating a football player for toughness and longevity makes no sense.

I never said I hated the guy and certainly not because he played a long time. I just don't think he was that damn good. He doesn't deserve to be mentioned along with these other guys because he played a long time. It isn't like it is some sort of new fangled theory that Smith isn't one of the greatest of all time. Hardly anyone gives him that kind of credit.
