The Emmitt haters never rest.

I have had a fierce hatred of the Cowboys for most of my life. That being said, I never hated Emmitt Smith. There wasnt anything flashy about him because he was a between-the-tackles guy. When he got out in the open, he could run you over or make you look silly. He was a great back. Sure, he had a phenomenal line and a great supporting cast, but he was damn taltented.

I dont think he is as good as Payton, Sanders, or Jim Brown, but I will put him at #4.

It also doesnt hurt that the guy has been a man of integrity his entire career.
