If he proves he's worthy of starting, then he should be starting. As it stands now, there are at least 2 veterans on the depth chart ahead of him (Bennett and Moore, since Moe is used pretty much exclusively for 3rd downs and short yardage). If the vets in front of him that should get the first shot to produce DON'T produce and/or he shows the coaches something in practice or in a substitute role that makes them think he's worthy of starting, then he should be starting. That's why I said he'll be the starter by mid-season, not the start of the season.
