They interviewed the prosecuting attourney today on the Radio as well as a big time DD defense lawyer (who proudly proclaimed that the he got a woman off after being convicted SIX times for DWI). Also, a juror called in.
The problem was that cop didn't follow procedure at the road side. Then the cop didn't ask for a search warrent to FORCE him to give blood (appearantly you can't force him to blow). So the only information that the juror had to go on was an incomplete road side test and an inadmisable portable BAC which any lawyer who wants to make allot of money keeping people out jail will blow holes in. Blame the cop. He didn't do his job correctly. Or blame the guy's superviser.
Also, the juror who called in said that she and 5 others thought that he did it but they didn't think there was enough evidence or something else equally stupid sounding.
After awhile the lawyerly jibber-jabber, circular talking, and double speak got to me and I had to turn it off.
All in all I must say thanks allot to the LaDue PD. Nice work morons.
