I heard on the radio today that the NFL Commissioner's office is looking into reports that the Patriots have intentionally allowed the condition of their field to suffer in preparation for this week's game against the Colts. The area has supposedly been hit by snow and rain all week and the stadium staff has not once rolled out the tarp, allowing the field to become muddy, choppy, and "heavy". They are doing this to try and slow down the Colts offense and turn the game into a smash-mouth affair. The reason this has become such a big deal is because the Colts accused the Patriots of doing the same thing last year in the playoffs, which led to one of Peyton Manning's worst game as a pro.
