Did I say he should get MVP because he's a hard worker? No, I did not. Thanks for yet again providing insight on nothing. Him being a hard worker was in reference to your bringing up his missed FTs in the playoffs last year. Again, last year is last year.

Also, making your team/teammates better does not go hand in hand and is completly subjective. For years it was repeatedly said AI doesn't make his teammates better. Say what you will on that front, he certainly made the team a hell of a lot better. So obviously it's not the same thing.

Hmm, double doubles being a requesite for winning MVP, that's rich. So a player gaining double doubles with 17 points and 10 boards is a far greater acheivement than a guy putting up 30+ points and 6 assits. Got it.

What other names are being thrown out there for MVP this year? The only one I've heard so far is Nash (obviously the supreme being in making teammates better, granted it doesn't carry over to the defensive end, but who needs it).
Guy shoots 43% from the floor. And averages 6 asst per game. Sounds similar to AI so I can definetly see why sixers fans would say he deserves it. Now I respect your basketball opinion but the guys numbers(not play) are just like AI's. Low FG%, high ppg, and average assts.

Wade- 28ppg and 8 assts. He's the only good player on this team when shaq isn't there. When shaq comes back this team won't have a losing record anymore. He also shoots like 48%. Arenas has Jamison and Butler. Who does Wade have? He's a SG(been playing a lot of point though) and has 8 assists per game

Nash-I didn't think he should of got the MVP 2 years ago. Last year he desrved it and this year, how can anyone argue that.

Dirk-I hate the man until he wins me a ring but when you've got the best team in the league and only one all star player on it. Then he deserves to get some looks.

Kobe-Carrying the team without Odom and has totally changed his game this year finally, to better suit this team. He, unlike arenas, is not a me first player on every possesion now. He also shoots like 48%, plays some of the best defense in the league at sg, chooses to guard their best player(aka wade last night). He's an all around player. He's a SG and has one less Asst per game then PG Arenas)

And to answer your question is 17 and 10 better than 31 and 6. Of course not. But when you have 5 double doubles. You are a one dimensional player. You can score, but can you do anything else?

Everyone of the players mentioned above is more than just a scoring threat. They look for their teamates, they player great defense, or they go and board. They also take smarter shoots and because of that shot a lot better FG%.
