I think it's now clear to me after 8 races that Jean Eric Vergne is not ready for F1.

I have to agree with you, I was surprised that Buemi and Alguersuari were both dropped this year. Personally I would have gone Alguersuari/Ricciardo this year with Vergne spending another year in WSR or GP2 before promoting him at the expense of Alguersuari in 2013
