She's from Greece, MN is in America. So is it culturally insensitive? What you are basically saying is that anytime someone of one race says something about another race, it must be racist. Or at least you are saying that about her statement.

My point is that anytime there are two races involved, everyone runs to say it is racist. I simply don't believe that is true.
That was my point, I replace greece with MN in my question I posed, which was not answered. So if the statement was made in American that "With all the Africans in MN the west nile...." would that be racist.


And as I said before, I don't think is it automatically racist. I think it goes to the intent of the person saying the statement. If her intent was to imply there are too many Africans in Greece, then yes - that would be racist. If she was just making a stupid joke, it is racially insensitive.
