It may be bad P/R but since this is done by a private organization - which happens to be an American Company - and the whole Olympic movement in this country is privately funded, this is just political grandstanding. If they really cared they could have put pressure on Ralph Lauren, who has been doing US Unis for quite awhile and nobody has said anything, a long time ago to make these in the US. Two weeks before the Olympics is a silly time for this stuff.

to add Ralph Lauren was probably picked in the first place from the faux patriotism from a lot of his products bearing an american flag with an RL.
