If Michael Irvin can lie away his crack pipe and keep his ESPN job and get in the HOF prematurely, then I can't fathom how this hurts Phelps.

He is a least not a whore-mongering crackhead.

And he didn't have to push off on others for his success.

Irvins crackpipe wasn't pressed up on his lips.

Not defending Irvin, just can't prove it like a photo can.
