Around here we have a program going on that is Specifically for Pit Bulls at one of our low cost spay/neuter clinic. They don't do it all the time but at various times during the year. Basically you can Spay/Neuter your pit bull for only $5. And it includes rabies vaccine and microchip. They started this because we tend to euth a lot of pit bulls. There are just too many pit bulls that come into AC and not enough people adopting them. Typically their prices to spay/neuter are $45 for dogs. But they do this every so often.
I really wish there was this option in more places.
