Screw the show and the guys who take days of footage and edit it into an hour of aired footage (minus commercial breaks) in order to get ratings.
I spent some time on the web site and got an impression from that. Yes, these people are a bit crude in their speech, but they are honest about who they are.
They turn down a lot of people who want to adopt for various reasons, which I think is a good thing. Pit Bulls aren't for everyone.
They also don't adopt out of state to anyone who has an existing pet in the home just in case their are issues and they will make exceptions for this rule if the adopter in question is willing to come out there with their pets to do a meet and greet among the dog and existing pets. Seems responsible and fair to me.
They take care of about 200 dogs every day until those dogs find homes and that is a noble thing.
That said, I haven't and probably won't donate to them simply because there are so many breed rescues here that need the time, money, supplies or whatever else I would donate.
