Arlene is right. It is best to weigh once a day and at the same time every day or once a week as many of the members do! I weigh first thing in the mornng before I have gotten dressed for the day. Your weight can fluctuate many times during the day and yes, discourage you big-time.

I don't like the scale at all and still have the old kind, not the new digital ones which tell you exactly what you weigh right down to the ounce.

Measurements and clothes getting looser are real indicators that you are losing inches and the scales eventually go DOWN too!
