If you're in ketosis and not suffering any ill side effects, you ARE losing important weight. Your body is going to do what it can to fight that, and if your body can't fight it your body might disguise the fat loss by conserving water, etc., but hey as long as you're heading in the right direction no need to panic. As for food choices, if we look at it in a certain way, it's simplicity itself: If what you are about to eat was not recently alive, it is not food.
