I play with a 2 handicap who has almost no wrist cock (ala Steve Stricker) and hardly takes the club back more than 3/4. He can bust 280 drives right down the middle all day long and usually hits between 12 and 14 greens. I've always used more of relaxed crack the whip wrist action but it seems I can no longer rely on it to consistently return the club to the ball properly. I'm just curious as to how firm most of you keep your wrists throughout the swing. Thanks for your thoughts.
