I certainly hope this will come to fruition quickly in Israel. I agree completely that something like this will open access up to millions. There are very few who can continually get treatments which for many would require moving to a location where the clinic was nearby. That isn't the answer except for a very few.

This research is very exciting. The costs would be reduced substantially. Also, the harvest of the stem cells would no longer put patients at risk.

Thanks for posting this. It may seem like it is too far in the future to matter, but I believe the Israelis don't think in terms of decades.
