There absolutely was luck with Oost's double eagle. When he hit that shot he in no way envisioned it finding the bottom of the cup. I don't think there was any luck with Bubba's. He pulled off the shot he wanted.

As for Oost saying the double eagle messed up his round, WTF? He thought it was over? He had only a slight lead and a whole round to play. That's a weird thing to think and say.

with any shot within your range you always hope its as close to the pin as possible. they both did the same thing, put the ball where they hoped it would end up. if bubba could just magically put every ball exactly where he wanted it, there would be no reason for a playoff.
