And that's where luck plays in. Oost's hit the green like he wanted and found the bottom of the cup, whereas Bubba's hit the area of the green he was aiming for and didn't find the cup.

Oosty hit a terrific shot, probably right where he intended, but it is pretty obvious that the final result required some luck. The ball was on the ground for over 90 feet and could have hit a spike mark or ball mark to knock it off line. Or maybe a spike mark or ball mark knocked it ON line, who knows?
