Well, we are biting the bullet and completely shutting down for the season. We will open the 9 high holes this week, but the low holes are being shut down for a flood mitigation project that will hoepfull allow us to open sooner when we do flood, which is inevitable. Raise and crown fairways, and create drains and swales that will get the water and silt off the course quicker as the water goes down.
Thank goodness that courses in the area are being very kind to us and allowing reciprical play while we are shut down. We have always allowed reciprocal play over the years as some the courses in the area shut down for projects and it is coming back in a positive way. So I'll be on tour for the rest of September and October. Not all that bad.
