The only thing I play off of my back heel is a chip shot.

Outside of sticking the lob wedge for par my favorite hole yesterday was a putt I made.

My one buddy was a dick all day for some reason. "Are you sure that was a par"? "You sure that ball went into the hazard and not out of bounds?" I hit into one bunker and it was full of water. I found the only dry spot in there and raked it, it had been under water and was hard as concrete. "I didn't know we were playing it up in the bunkers."

Anyway we're on this tight hole that doglegs left. He hits a pull slice, he's lefty, and hits a tree way up high right of the fairway and the ball falls down.
I hit what I thought was a great drive, left side of the fairway and drawing around the corner. It disappeared around the corner.
So we get up there and the fairway falls off hard to the left and my ball is gone. From what I saw from the tee I figured it went into the hazard about 140 from the green.

Just to be nice I ask him and his team mate where they think I went into the hazard.
"Well it sure wasn't way up there, I had to hit from back here and I hit the ball as hard as you did." No matter that his drive hit 40 feet up in a tree and fell straight down, and we saw mine carry and was rolling when it disappeared around the corner.

I said Fine, that's ok and go back about 30 yards. Hit a beautiful 5 iron uphill right at the pin. I thought it was a great shot. Get up there and the flag is on the back and I'm 60 feet from it. Drill the putt, look at him and say That's a par, and walk back to the cart trying not to laugh out loud.
