I forgot how expensive that shit is.

What's cool though is one of the courses here has a family discount program setup. We went in one Sunday for a little briefing on the rules and they signed us up. We get discounts on range balls...buy a Med, get upgraded to a Large and discounted greens fees...my son and I can both play for $26 total, cart included. Only thing with the greens fees is you can't reserve a tee time, you have to just go and wait to get on. But considering the discount I can live with that.
Back when i worked for Bullet Golf (they used to own the Roger Dunn stores), we would get HUGE discounts if we bought RD/Bullet products.

Sure we got the usual big-head driver from another manufacturer, but the clubs would be mere dollars (think forged 3 thru pitch for less then $100) when they'd retail for three times that much. Add in the Ping sand wedge and maybe a lob wedge and you've got yourself a cool set.

We used to joke about how cool it'd be to work for Ping and get to test their drivers and clubs out. We got to beta test the Bullet stuff on local courses if Steve (Dunn) had new stuff coming out.

I ended up with a club collection that i still have...then added some Ben Hogan's to the mix.
