Makanda, Ill. - The Marion High School girls golf team held off Homewood Flossmoor and Winnetka New Trier to claim the 2008 IHSA Class AA Girls Golf State Finals team championship at Stone Creek Golf Club on Saturday.
Much, much more on the Lady Wildcats' victory will be posted here later and in Tuesday's print edition of the Marion Daily Republican.
