I know many don't care for classic country music, but this is a story that's kinda interesting.
Merle Haggard a great country singer/song writer was atone time married to Bonnie Owens (who at one time was the late Buck Owens widow. She was a singer in her own right. Their marriage,( Meryl and Bonnie's was rocky), he and she traded song comments for many months finally they broke up the marriage but just before the divorce they recorded this song:




I think it's one of their best. They went on the road together much later and sung this song live. Bonnie is gone now and Merle is my age but it is a well known country music romance that was up and down but deep down neither ever stopped loving the other. I hope you'll play the song and enjoy it.
