upbeat, (albeit secular), music like Kylie Minogue, Enrique Iglesias, etc.??

My ex's new(ish) wife of almost 2 years had decided to ban secular music in my 7 yr. old daughter's world. She is now only allowed to listen to "Christian Contemporary" and "Hanna Montana", (because Hanna Montana is so Christian based...

). Even though my ex, (who just bought a box set by Tool, lolz), doesn't do this himself.

Retarded hey? Well, I decided against this. For her beeday, I'm getting her an ipod shuffle, (or something along the lines of...), and filling it with the music that she has loved listening to for years and the music she loves listening to while being in the car with me.

And, I've told her, (Kate - the wife), this. Haven't gotten a response to that email since then....lolz
