WMA? why would you want to use a wholly inferior format? It works with all the major formats, it's just WMA isn't one of them: the far majority of internet music is on mp3, AAC, AIFF or WAV.

I've never encountered any problems with it myself. I find it a handy way to play and organise my 10,000 odd songs

As with anything technical though, it's all about personal preference, if you don't like how it works, use something else.
Well when I ripped them I didn't notice that Windows Media Player automatically rips in WMA format. I've changed it since, but not before I ripped over 200 CD's, and I certainly wasn't about to do it all over again.
