The dinosaurs were wiped out.

Yet birds, reptiles, fish, and mammals survived. Albeit with massive losses.

Why is this? Think about it. Think about how much the dinosaur probably had to eat to survive. The average African elephant has to eat 300lbs of food a day. Imagine what a Diplodocus or Brontosaurus, about 8 times larger, had to eat.

Suddenly, evolution favoured not the largest creatures, but those that could survive on what limited resources were about after and during the extinction events.
those dinosaurs were at a huge disadvantage size gravity amount of consumption needed
That's all fine and dandy but not all dinosaurs were massive. This doesn't explain why the smaller ones died out too.
