Repitition is the key. When we first got married, my wife did not know how to drive a stick and that is all we had! It was survival baby! We lived on a hill in San Diego. I remember she used to back out of the driveway and then coast backwards down the hill to the bottom so she did not have to negotiate using the clutch on the hill. Lol! Now she is a pro and we have a 1982 Fiat Spider she can stay practiced up on. Actually the easiest are clutches with short throws like the Fiat. I think a U.S. truck with a manual is harder due to the longer throw, at least the last manual U.S. truck I drove.
