I can see both sides of this point, that;s for sure.

A GT will always be a GT, but a guy could buy one for 25-30K and put a fully forged, DSS twin turbo charged stroker with Griggs suspension and blow the doors off a Shelby in a straight line and on a road course, and it won't be a Shelby. But it'll be fast.

If I had 70 grand to spend on any car, I'd love to have one.
