I'm having a terrible time onHCG (sublingual compounded from pharmacy). I'm on day 14, and have lost about 11 pounds, which is fine because I'm already in the normal range, but I have had terrible muscle cramps and weakness. We thought it was a combination of low sodium and low potassium, and upping that has helped, but I'm so weak that I can hardly stand in the shower and wash my hair. My pulse shoots up from my normal 60 to about 110 when I do that. Prior to HCG, I played golf, tennis and ran, and I now can hardly walk on this diet. I am under a doctor's care, have had bloodwork and EKG,but nothing shows up. I believe I should get off, but don't want to gain back the 11 pounds. I see my dr. on Tuesday, which will be 17 days, but am open to all advice. I'm going to need rehab!!
Why are you dieting if you are already in the normal range? Do you have any more abnormal fat to lose? or are you pretty much finished? If you are pretty much finished, I would think you are burning the wrong kind of fat now, because you are eating too few calories (if you are on 500 a day still). My understanding (read P & I to make sure), is that once you have lost all your abnormal fat, you need to increase your calories for the rest of P2. I think they said to go up to 1000 or 1100, but I don't remember for sure so double check. I'm thinking if you have no fat left to burn, and no food to burn, that is a bad situation, and you would start burning the normal fat. This is just a thought, so maybe it applies to your situation, or maybe not. I don't know enough to say.
