I find them in the pasta and spaghetti sauce aisle in the grocery store (Kroger and Meijer), not in the cracker or bread section. One of my stores (Giant Eagle) has an Italian section and that's where they are. I bought gluten free ones my first 3 rounds. I ate them and they were the highlight of each day. This round, I haven't eaten them and I haven't missed them. You want to buy the ones that are about the size of a pencil.

Depending on the size of your fruit and the vegetable choices you make, you probably should count calories as it is very easy to over the 500 by a lot. If you are choosing small pieces of fruit and eating lettuce, spinach and chard, you probably don't need to count. But if you are choosing our modern giant pieces of fruit and onions or tomatoes as vegetables, weighing and counting your food is wise.
