The hcg that we take should not show up in ordinary blood tests, but if you are having more sophisticated homonal studies done, which your doctor is going to use to determine homone dosages to help you get pregnant....I would not have the hcg in my system for that testing. You want your doctor to get a really accurate picture of where your hormones are.

Also, I would not actively try to get pregnant while on the hcg diet. The early days of a pregnancy are too important to the developing embryo to mess up with our VLCD. I have heard of some folks doing it with strict physician supervision, and modifications to the diet to allow enough calories for the embryo. But my opinion is these are two major projects...losing weight....and making a baby. Each one deserves your full attention. I wouldn't try to do both at the same time....
