Its not exactly off protocol, so I wouldn't say its not on protocol.....you are treading a very fine line there. I tend to err on the side of ....if it didn't exist in Simmeons day, and he obviously didn't mention it..(duh)...but if it fits otherwise, its probably OK....of course you have to check for yourself...but most of us do use the low fat broth without any problems.
