Thanks for delving into my questions Itsy

1. Are you on HCG from your naturopath?
Many ppl on Rx take a break every week to avoid becoming immunized to it.
Perhaps two days rather than 3 seem adequate to switch over from HCG. If this is where you got the HCG, maybe that is their experience.
Yes, my naturopath provided me with a vial of pre-mixed hCG and I imagine bacteriostatic water.

Would you add another day to the end just to be on the safe side if you were in my position?

2. Splurge means no sugar, no starch. Once you are clean from those, any indulgence can make you feel like crap. On the other hand in a healthy body, meat and fat can be a treat.
I thought that the sugar and starch restrictions were only connected with P3 of the diet. Do you not add those back in during P4?

My wonder was if this diet puts restrictors on people after they've finished a complete round that are more amplified than a normal intake of unhealthy food.

3. Surgery requires protein for recovery. Do not try to limit that in the process. You mentioned "spleen". What kind of surgery? Is it elective at all and is it possibly diet-related?
I agree with your assessment, and was hoping for some sort of magical tale that would permit me to have my cak...errr 100grams of veggies and eat them too. If I get called in early, and I am still in one of the phases I'll come clean with the surgeon's office and take their lead on what they think is best. Considering the wait time for surgical suites, I doubt that I will get called early anyway.

Not an elective surgery, nor related to dieting. No, my spleen is not related, I felt a bit of a spleen vibe wishing you well. I thank my knees too for putting up with my extra weight. I am odd
