Read on this forum some people have used coconut oil so I decided to try it. MISTAKE.
Well I went off Protocal and had a 2 pound gain this am. I read some people having coconut oil on P2, so last night I had fried cabbage in 2 tsp of coconut oil, beef fried in 1 tsp co. Lunch was cottage cheese and strawberries. Last night I also had ice coffee with a T creamer and bam ..a 2 pound gain this morning.
I'm not sure if the cottage cheese affected me as well, so staying off it too. Anyone have this happen with cottage cheese?

I'm doing an apple day today.

Some people can't handle cottage cheese, but it is on the original protocol "occasionally". What type of creamer did you use? We are only supposed to have 1 TBS. of milk (and it can be whole milk) per day. The artificially sweetened OR sugar sweetened, non dairy creamers are not allowed, and neither is half and half or cream. I personally wouldn't use any sort of oil in P2, since we are hoping that the HCG will cause our body to burn its own fat. I know there is info on here that CO is not absorbed by our body and passes through but I think that's a theory more than a fact. Some people also say they gain from cabbage, although it's certainly protocol.

I would stick to protocol, no CO, no creamer except 1 TBS. milk, etc. Then you'll see if any of the things ON protocol, like cottage cheese or cabbage, is a problem with you. To "fry" things, I always used fat free sugar free broth in P2 - added flavor even if things didn't really "fry".
