Howdy, gang of smart people --
My wife is on R3D4 and has gained 3.8 pounds, eating no starches and no sugars -- we read labels. Sometimes we read them aloud to each other -- it's a bonding thing : )
It's possible she's sensitive to eggs, as she had those a couple of days. So she's cutting those out.
She did a high protein day according to some of the suggestions here (protein coming from steak, tuna, chicken, sausage (the type with just meat and some red pepper in it) and a pair of those darned eggs); a handful of veggies on the side; salsa; some salt and pepper. She gained a pound. Maybe the eggs, maybe not.
So today is a steak day. I don't think she can physically wait until 5 or 6 to eat -- she gets dizzy, weak, headache-y, the whole 9 yards. So: is there any issue with her having steak for lunch and steak for dinner? No veggie, no oils, just steak.
Thanks in advance. I come to the forums a few times a day for support and inspiration.
