don't go overboard on loading. some people seem to think they need to load until they are sick, and that's not true. "eat to capacity" is the rule. you'll gain much less if you load with fats, without carbs. remember that whatever you gain on your load is extra weight you have to lose. remember that this was written in the 60's when it was not uncommon for people to starve themselves when they dieted- which is why he instructed some people to load for a few days before they even started the hcg. but these days, many of us have been "loading" for years! so our normal fat stores are full to start with. some people use this time to say "goodbye" to favorite foods. that might work from an emotional standpoint, but the reality is that many of those foods have been damaging your health all along, and if you're making a clean start it might be best to say goodbye to them before you even start the hcg. change your mindset. Holidays and special occasions are a good time to load, if they are a time when you were going to splurge anyway. no point in dumping in a lot of extra calories twice! after your first round, many people believe that you really don't need to load the same way for your next round. if your first load restored your normal fat stores, and you're not losing them while on hcg, why would you need to increase them again? so tone it down for R2- i've not noticed a difference in my hunger when i do that.
