I always carry an apple or orange slices with me. I was having scary hypo like episodes in the afternoon. I minimized this by swapping one fruit for an egg, eaten around 10 am, then lunch at noonish, 1/2 a fruit mid afternoon, dinner around 6, and the last 1/2 fruit with dinner, or later with a cup of tea. If I follow that schedule, I do well.
