I also brush my dogs teeth every night. I only feed them dry food as my vet recommended and I do give them chew bones but I brush their teeth anyway. Despite the dry diet Bitsy my dachshund has very bad breath. I've had it checked by the vet and their is nothing wrong that he could find so I brush all my dogs teeth just to freshen their breath.
