Jiggers - he is an Irish Setter/Golden Retriever mix and the designer name is a Golden Irish. This sounds like some sort of ale and a jigger is a measurement when making mixed drinks so it seemed to fit him.

Kryten - he is an English Mastiff and before I was allowed to purchase him the breeder made sure that I was aware that he is likely to get close to 240lbs. I wanted a name that would fit both a young puppy and a mammoth sized dog. Kryten is a character on the British comedy Red Dwarf.
