My friend gave birth and she has this same problem. She was always skinny but she feels like giving birth destroyed her body. I think it's natural that women feel depressed especially if it's her first baby. She's not used to the body changes but I say they give their body time to recuperate before working hard to lose all that baby weight. Stretching is the best way or a slow walk everyday. Sit ups can be considered but only if the body is ready. Drinking a lot of water will also help.
