My cats absolutely wear collars. Where I live, if cat is found without a collar, animal control automatically takes it to the shelter, which is 30 minutes away. They will also fine you to cover costs. Even though my cats are indoor cats, they have occasionally skinned by someone and took off. I don't want to risk the fines or losing my animals so they have collars and ID tags.
